Responsible for translating design specifications into accurate, buildable construction information, the CAD Technician will produce and manage high-quality technical drawings and 3D models across tender, planning, construction and as-built stages, ensuring information is accurate, coordinated and compliant with quality and performance standards.
This role is ideal for an established CAD Technician with expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D), and a proven ability to interpret complex architectural, civil and structural drawings and specifications. Reporting to the Contracts Director, the Contracts Manager will be responsible for the delivery of exciting sports construction and surfacing projects across multiple sites and locations.
Self-motivated and able to work under their own initiative, the successful applicant will be directly responsible for the running of sites, delegating to Site Managers and Contract Supervisors to manage the workload and programme delivery.
Key responsibilities also include issuing Valuations to clients, agreeing incoming Valuations from contractors, and preparing monthly cost sheets and cost forecasts for the Operations Director.
