Operations Administrator

The Role

As Operations Administrator, you’ll play a key role in driving the efficient delivery of our sports construction and placemaking projects helping to improve the health and wellness of communities across the UK.

From our Newbury offices you will work closely with office and site-based colleagues to efficiently process the delivery of materials, ensure supplier invoices match the goods and services supplied, manage the company vehicle fleet and track the distribution of plant across our nationwide of construction projects.

 

Is this you?

Reporting to the Operations Director your key responsibilities will include, this role is ideal for an experienced administrator with strong numeracy, analytical and computer skills who enjoys working in a dynamic and friendly office environment.

You’ll bring good communication skills, a positive mindset, and the ability to think and act proactively.

What you’ll be doing

  • Handling routine purchase orders
  • Assisting with purchase order administration
  • Checking costs against agreed rates and applying for credits as required
  • Supporting the preparation of facility Handover Manuals
  • Administration of the company vehicle fleet
  • Tracking the distribution of hired-in plant
  • Managing inbound calls to the purchasing department.
