Car Park Lighting and Furniture

Eton College commands a unique position within the Country’s sporting heritage and therefore the appointment to build a major new sports development and civil engineering works at Willowbrook was a prestigious commission for S&C Slatter.

S&C Slatter’s in-house Surfacing & Civils team created a 52-space barrier entry paving grid car park with tarmacadam access road, which required a section 278 connection to the adjacent highway. The car park design and construction incorporates links to the sports pitches and new pavilion via tarmacadam and resin-bound gravel pathways featuring bollard lighting.

The project was managed and completed by the company’s in-house design, construction and project management teams led by Pre-Construction Manager Ben O’Connor and Contracts Manager David Smith.

Central to the new sporting facilities are two sand-dressed artificial turf hockey pitches complete with a hockey training pitch. All are surfaced with FieldTurf Gold Elite artificial turf and designed to play to the FIH National Performance Standard. Find out more here.

We are delighted with the new sports pitches and car park constructed by S&C Slatter at Willowbrook. This is an important development for the College.”
