Royal Holloway University of London has a strong commitment to sport from encouraging recreational sport and keeping fit to supporting world-class athletes. There are some 60 sports clubs for students to join, ranging from football to lacrosse to ninjutsu and ultimate frisbee.
S&C Slatter was selected to deliver an outstanding new build development of the sports centre facilities and infrastructure.
The infrastructure works centred on improving vehicular access to the site and formalising parking provision. Our in-house Surfacing & Civils division completed the new build project, constructing a 41-space macadam car park which is serviced by a new macadam roadway. Macadam perimeter pathways now provide easy transition to an array of external sports pitches and the indoor sports centre building and administration buildings.
Sports Centre facilities constructed by S&C Slatter included state of the art artificial turf pitches for Football & Rugby and Hockey & Lacrosse, together with tarmacadam Tennis/Netball courts and a Multi-use Games Area. Find out more here.
