Case Study: The Holbrook Club

3G Artificial Turf for Football

The Holbrook Club is Horsham’s premier sports and social club, providing a wide range of facilities and activities for the local community. Sport is very much at the club’s core supplemented by a strong events and social calendar, ensuring there is a most likely something on offer for everyone.

The new 37m x 36m football pitch features a state of the art 60mm 3G football turf playing surface with an in-situ bound rubber shock pad. The area provides two 5 a side areas, separated by a new demountable pitch dividing system, or a 7 a side pitch, with rebound quality weld mesh panel fencing to the perimeter.

In preparation for the artificial turf system, the existing tennis courts had to be refurbished and re-levelled with a new macadam top layer and pre-cast concrete edging.

Facility

3G Artificial Turf for Football. 1332m2.

Removal and disposal of perimeter chainlink fencing. Preparation of the existing macadam surface. Line marking for 5 and 7 a side football. Provision of new fencing systems, 5 a side goals and player signage.

Working with S&C Slatter on this project was stress and hassle free as their experienced team took complete control and ensured the entire project was delivered on time and budget, with regular updates on project progress.
